CakePHP Developer

Job Description

We’re looking for a skilled CakePHP Developer who enjoys building clean, efficient, and scalable web applications and who isn’t afraid to explore modern tools like HTMX and TailwindCSS to make interfaces fast and elegant.

Experience: 3–5 years in CakePHP (v4 preferred) with good understanding of modern tools like HTMX and TailwindCSS.
Type: Full-time, on-site position (physical office).
Location: Faisalabad, Pakistan.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain web applications using CakePHP (v4+) and HTMX.
• Build responsive and modern interfaces with TailwindCSS and Alpine.js.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs and connect with third-party systems.
• Collaborate closely with frontend, design, and product teams to deliver smooth user experiences.
• Keep code clean, structured, and scalable — with attention to security and performance.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of experience in CakePHP development.
• Strong understanding of MVC architecture, object-oriented PHP, and MySQL.
• Comfortable working with HTMX, TailwindCSS, and modern JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and agile workflows.
• Someone who communicates clearly, takes initiative, and genuinely cares about what they build.

Bonus Skills
Experience with Laravel, Livewire, or Inertia.js.
Knowledge of Redis, ElasticSearch, or other caching/indexing systems.
Understanding of AWS, CI/CD pipelines, or containerised environments.
